National Park Manuel Antonio
There are many National-Parks in Costa Rica. But the popular of all is "Manuel Antonio", because of his wonderful Beaches. About 36 acres are covered with Mangrove-Swamps, which containes Red, White and Button-Mangroves. The Beach-Vegetation is stamped by the toxic "Manzanillo"-Tree, the "Ocean Almond" Tree and many Cocopalm-Trees. The Park is Home for 109 Species of Mammals: Roar-Monkeys, Two- and Three-Finger Sloths and, Racoons. The wonderful little Skull-Monkey, which sub-species Citrinellus is at home in Costa Rica, is threatend, because of the destroying of its living Place and the Attitude as Maskot - in "Manuel Antonio" it's safety. There are many more wonderful Animals and Plants and so you have to visit "Manuel Antonio" absolute, when you're in Costa Rica. The Admission for "Manuel Antonio" is 10 $, a Guide is recommendable. For this, you have to pay 15 - 20 $ separately.
Over Suspension-Bridges in Jungle
On good Ways you're hiking along Rivers and Waterfalls trough the marvelous Jungle in "RAINMAKER"-Park. An attentive Guide explains much Trivia about Plants and Animals in the Forest. You'll see some kind of Animals like Armadillos, Snakes, Birds and different sort of Lizards. Park-Highlight are the impressive Suspension-Bridges with a length of about 25 feet and in the Height of 20 feet, from where you'll have an wonderful View over the Jungle. About an Hour from Parrita away, you go with the Boat for 2 Hours on "Rio Tarcoles" to watch Crocodiles. Also you are Live-Guest at Feeding-Time for the second-greatest Crocodile Costa Ricas (80 Years old, 1600 lbs. and about 14 feet tall!). For this recommend Tour you'll pay 30 $
"Rafa's Monkey-Tour"
Between Quepos/Manuel Antonio and Parrita, there's "Isla Damas" from where this Tour starts. With a little Boat you are on the "River Damas", where you can see and touch little Monkeys. This Monkeys are really nice and will visit you in the Boat! Price for this Tour: 45 $Dolphin-Tour

Waterfalls"Las Pilas"
From Parrita all over Ricefields, Melon- and Teakwood-Plantations goes the gravel-road to the little Village "La Pirris".
